Company Bike Makes cyclists' hearts beat faster
What is it all about?
Healthier, more sustainable and often faster! Get to work by bike instead of by car. With the so-called Company Bike leasing program, offered via our partner Lease-a-Bike, we enable our employees to lease a bike of their choice through us. We are the actual lessee and provide the bike for use. With tax benefits, you save a lot of money this way and get the bike you want at a low price—even a bike you might not have been able to afford without the benefit. The bike can also simply be used privately.
What do I get out of it?
- Employees get the bike they want at favorable terms: they can freely choose the type and brand of bike they want from 3,000 affiliated dealers.
- ELATEC gives—depending on your salary—a subsidy of 15 or 30 EUR. Compared to a purchase, you save up to 40% of the costs; the VAT is paid by ELATEC.
- The leasing installments reduce your gross salary, so you pay less taxes and lower social security contributions.
- Private trips do not have to be taxed (unlike the company car).
- At the end of the term (36 months), employees can take over the bike for much cheaper than the original price. Or, return the bike and choose a new model.
- You have maximum coverage, because the leasing rate includes comprehensive insurance and a freely selectable maintenance package.
