Julio A. Lorenzo Hired as Director of Business Development for Latin America
Palm City, Fla, November 12, 2018 ELATEC welcomes Julio A. Lorenzo as Director of Business Development for Latin America and the Caribbean as they expand their presence in those markets.

ELATEC offers a uniquely flexible radio frequency identification (RFID) reader which enables user authentication for access control applications. ELATEC readers recognize and decode over 60 card types and are certified for use in 108 countries. The readers are widely used for secure print management and other applications such as industrial vending, car-sharing and fleet management, time-attendance and computer log-on.

“Latin American is a highly complex market with 40 countries across Central and South America and the Caribbean which support a variety of languages and cultures”, explained Lorenzo. “There are numerous technologies used for various applications throughout the region which means companies that want to integrate RFID into their solutions must be prepared to handle many different RFID transponder technologies. ELATEC is uniquely positioned to meet these challenges.”

Lorenzo has served the Latin American market in multiple roles for more than 20 years, most recently in the document imaging and document management industry for Kyocera Document Solutions America. He brings a deep understanding of the Latin American market and insight into how to build strong relationships which transcend language and culture differences. In his new role, Lorenzo will focus on expanding ELATEC's influence to build and maintain a strong and consistent presence in these markets.
